If x and y are integers and xy does not equal 0, is xy < 0?

(1) y = x4 – x3

(2) x is to the right of y on the number line

x=2 y = 8 xy>0
x=-2 y24 xy<0

INSUFF

Stmt II

X to right of y could be x and y are both negative , x and y both positive and y negative x positive

DIFFERETN SIGNS FOR xy possible INSUFF


Stmt I and II

If y=x^4-x^3 y will always be positive and if y is positive x has to be positive since x is to the right of y on number line

hence xy>0 or positive SUFF
