Company Q has 18,000 employees, 40 percent of whom are married. What percent of the employees are married and have been with the company for longer than 15 years?

(1) The number of employees who are married is three times the number of unmarried employees who have been with the company for 15 years or fewer.

(2) The number of married employees who have been with the company for more than 15 years is four times the number of married employees who have been with the company for 15 years or fewer.

IMO B

Total 18000
Married 7200
Unmarried 10800

1: 7200 = 3(number of unmarried employees who have been with the company for 15 years or fewer)
=> number of unmarried employees who have been with the company for 15 years or fewer = 2400
number of unmarried employees who have been with the company for more than 15 years = 10800 - 2400 = 8400
But we dont know total number of employees who have been with the company for 15 years or fewer so Not Suff.

2: number of married employees who have been with the company for more than 15 years be x
the number of married employees who have been with the company for 15 years or fewer y
x = 4y
we know x+y = 7200 (Total married)
So we can find x. Sufficient
