Subject Verb agreement!

by sameke » Tue Jan 13, 2009 2:01 pm
Hi there,

I was wondering if the ...or... structure takes singular verb.

Samantha or Derick is/are going to do dishes.

Is it similar to the either or and neither nor structure that take the verb of the closest subject.

Thanks.
