Can we useThem/They for objects

Hi,
I have a very basic question on the use of them/they.

Please suggest can we use them/they for objects.In case the topis is posted previously please paste the link.

Well, "them" for objects, "they" for subject.

So,as per GMAT rules is it fine to use THEM for nonliving things (books,pens,tables...)

ok..I thought you were talking about "subject pronouns" and "object pronouns".

But yes, "they/them" can most definitely be used for non-living things as well..and this is not just a "GMAT thing".
