Haha, thanks Ron. I have no regrets at all about giving these away for free. It's just really great to know that thousands of people have been able to benefit from this resource!

Also, an exciting FYI: these flashcards are currently being updated (by a professional GMAT instructor) and redesigned! I'll be sharing the updated set next month.

Hi Folks:

Just wanted to encourage folks to download the GMAT Flashcards right now--I've uploaded an updated version just a few minutes ago!

These flashcards have been reviewed and edited by a top test prep instructor for quality control.

On another note: I am looking for a volunteer to help me redesign the look and feel for the set. If anyone is interested in helping out, please PM me.

Thanks!

Whoops, thanks for pointing out that bug. I've uploaded a new version of the flash cards with proper 'RC' labels. :)

Thanks for the wonderful resource. This, combined with the MGMAT flashcards, (seem to) make for a killer abbreviated study guide.

One note...it looks like every question is marked Verbal (I think it's wrong starting on Pg. 38). This was a little confusing since I printed on a laser/B&W printer, but I quickly realized that "Multiples of 3" probably didn't have anything to do with Verbal :)

Complete sidebar and fun fact. These flashcards have been downloaded over 70,000 times to date! Amazing, huh!
This is awesome Eric! These combined with MGMAT flashcards are extremely useful for study on the day before exam!

QUICK Question: I would like to add some of the interesting formulae that I have come across so far in my GMAT Prep.

Ex: Radius of incircle of right angled triangle =
(Sum of perpendicular sides - Hypotenuse) / 2

Do you think a place holder where such formulae could be uploaded and later consolidated by volunteers would be helpful for the prospective gmatters?

Thanks kanha81! If you can e-mail or PM me any topics you think should be included in the flashcards, I can be sure to include them in the next update! (happens regularly)

Thanks very much and great suggestion.

Can you guys see these flashcards when you download them, https://www.beatthegmat.com/gmat-flash-cards.html ?

I'm getting reports here and there that people are downloading but cannot view!

hi there...

the flashcards are great! one question/comment (not sure if this has been pointed out yet)...

you have a flashcard with "target to" and then give an example sentence. (the chocolate company targeted its advertising to single women). there is nothing on this flashcard to indicate that this is wrong.

Then there is another Target flashcard, stating that "targeted to" is incorrect, and "targeted at" is correct.

so....is target/ed to ever correct? or is the one flashcard wrong?

To answer your question about the two confusing 'target' cards, check out this post here: https://www.beatthegmat.com/flash-cards-t18503.html

I will be releasing an updated version of these cards before the end of this month. It will fix these cards!

Thanks,

Eric

hey eric,

thanks a lot for your quick response! i think i just found another typo on one of the SC flashcards. The one that is titled "Idiom: During" should probably say:

During + undefined TIME PERIOD is wrong.

instead of

During + defined TIME PERIOD is wrong.

Or did i get something wrong there?

I also have a question to the card labeled "Majority"

Are all the examples given on that card incorrect? Or is just the first example incorrect?

One last question: the card labelled "Ellipsis" says that when using comparisons with "than" or "as", one usually omits the verb comparators as in:

"He is shorter than she." Would that really be correct in terms of gmat grammar? it sounds so awkward to me....

Also some advice on how to make the flashcards even better: Did u ever think about numbering them? That way it would be so much easier to refer to different cards...

cheers,

sven
