Political satire is the singular subject . seizes & exaggerates ( singular) verb are parallel. good one.!!
These days on GMAT u may rarely see a shorter sentence.

Political satire is singular subject. So, it needs singular verbs- seizes and exaggerates. Also, "typically"is an adverb and should not lie between verb and the object.

So, A is the correct answer. In B, "typically "lies between the verb and the object.
