Is it okay to mention names of b-school alumni who were colleague?

I'm writing about how the particular school will help me achieve my post-MBA goal via its courses/initiatives/culture and I'm mentioning that I got to know all this from the 2 alumni who were also my colleagues.

Is it a positive or negative point?
