Hi,
I just just promoted to supervisor, so I got a new supervisor myself. I am applying to Stern's part-time, and they want a current supervisor's recommendation or an explaination in essay 4. I want to write that "I feel uncomfortable asking my new supervisor (since she cant even pronouce my name yet), and I am providing the recommendation from my previous supervisor from the same organization, but a different department."
is this going to hurt my chances of getting into NYU part-time? I do have a few other things that I need to put on the essay 4, like why I got kicked out of my undergrad, (my maturity have improved vastly since then, and that's how I become a supervisor, I am not worried about that) I just feel my essay #4 maybe too long if I put those 2 things in there.
Also, I feel that my 17 months of work experience maybe a little low, even though I just got promoted to supervisor. Will these things all weight in on the negative side?
I am not asking if I can get in or not, I just want to know if these small (or maybe big) issues will have a negative impact.
Please advice!
thanks!
