Hello everybody.
I am 24 and I am interested in obtaining an MBA degree in Ontario. I have applied at two Universities.
Both schools require previous work experience.
I don't have any special work experience in my resume. Apart from a 6month work that I did as a student at a bank, I' ve got nothing special to mention.
Have provided good academic references though and also great references from my previous bank manager.
I have a GPA 7.2 out of 10 (this is 2.88 out of 4) in Accounting.
The minimum that these schools want in the GMAT is 600. I took the GMAT in a rush a week ago and got a bad 510. Despite my bad mark, I contacted both schools and they told me that I can take the test again, as long as I provide them the new results within the deadlines.
If I manage to get over 700 do I have more chances to participate in these programs? Or will they immediately reject me because I do not have the years of work experience that they require ?
Any ideas, whether professional or not, I am all ears.
Kostas.
