Application essay length restriction

Hi Everyone,

Hope all of you are having a good time..!!

I am applying for a B-School which requires all essays to be up to 300 words. Its really hard for me to compress the essay.
I want to ask how many words I can maximum use for the essays?
OR
What is the provision of error in terms of number of words ?

On average plus minus ten percent will work. But go over only if you NEED to.
Obviously, getting lots of worthwhile information in very little space is one of the challenges.

You should also ask someone to look at your essays for you and tell them that they're too long. they may be able to see ways you can consolidate sentences or remove them all together.

My goal is to make MBA applicants take onus over their process.
