Has anyone here considered to apply for this program? Is there a discussion somewhere in this forum that talks about this topic? Anyone got admitted maybe? How tough is it?
For those who don't know about it, if you are a college senior, you can apply to the Kelley School full-time MBA Program before graduation. Qualified candidates will be offered admission to the program on a deferred basis, with the expectation that they gain at least two years of full time, professional work experience prior to enrollment. They ask that you apply for admission by July 1 (the deadline is extended for Accelerated Admission applicants) by submitting a complete MBA application, including submission of valid GMAT scores.
This is an opportunity for seniors to graduate and begin their professional career with an offer of admission in hand from a top-ranked MBA program. If offered admission, They will stay in contact as you begin your career, keeping you up-to-date on program developments, and staying up-to-date on your experience and accomplishments. Once you are ready to begin the MBA Program, you simply join the next entering class.
Generally, this is a good idea for those who have a clear vision of what they want to do with the MBA and can demonstrate exceptional leadership potential. Because the full application is required, having good grades from a good undergrad school and a competitive GMAT score is important.
