When applying to a school, does the region where you live have any relevance in the decision making process? For example, I live in Maryland and one of my top choices for B-School is Minnesota. I checked their profile and only 1% of their students are from the Mid-Atlantic region. I would think this might be a good thing as the schools all seem to be striving for diversity. Any thoughts?
Dear Gandolf,
I wouldn't say it will be the reason you get admitted, but it will help you stand out in the applicant pool. Just make your application strong and compelling so you can receive an admit letter.
Best of luck,
Lisa
