More concise strategy

by dunleavy89 » Mon May 21, 2012 8:40 am
Just took the GMAT and got way off my target score of 700 (got a 620, 36 Q 38 V). I studied on and off over a 6 month period, using Knewton and some self study using the OG. My verbal was pretty much in line (if not a little lower) with what I was getting but I havent scored below a 44 in quant on my previous 5 tests, so not sure exactly went wrong on test day.

I need help crafting a concise strategy of study, I believe much of my problem was the long length over which I studied as well as not taking full practice tests under test center conditions. I was thinking of using MGMAT guides (namely the SC and number properties) and the powerscore CR bible to supplement over a one month period. What do you guys think?

Also I just took the test do you think a month or two off would be a good thing? I think I am feeling somewhat burnt out.
