one can identify the commutative and associative properties of multiplication by looking at the choices, so I and III would hold
ab=ba (commutative)
a*(b*c)=b*(a*c)=c*(a*b) etc (associative)
and by working out II only, (a*0)=a+0+0 also holds
or all I,II,III
