What is the value of x?
(1) - (x + y) = x - y
(2) x + y = 2

Thanks
(1) -(x + y) = x - y
2x = 0
x = 0; SUFFICIENT.

(2) x + y = 2
We have just one equation but 2 variables, so there is no unique values of x; NOT sufficient.

The correct answer is A.
