Hi
I read this sentence in OG11ed SC ques 65

The only way for growers to salvage frozen citrus is to process them quickly into juice concenttrate before they when warmer weather returns

the above is ans option A, in explaination it says that this choice is wrong bcoz citrus does not agree with them and they .. why ??

them and they are singular , frozen citrus is also singular
them and they can refer to person n things both , as explained here https://www.phon.ucl.ac.uk/home/dick/pronoun.htm

why is use of them & they incorrect here ??

oh sorry
them n they are plural .. citrus in singular right ??

but i wanted to confirm them n they can be used for both person and things right ?

citrus is in its singular form here.
And I believe them and they can be used in both ways.

I think i read in MGMAT that them n they are plural

can any1 else confirm ?
