If (x/y)>2, is 3x+2y<18?

(1) x-y is less than 2
(2) y-x is less than 2

well, I can picture the solution when plot the graph:

1) It will always be < 18 even at the positive side it can only be max 14 - SUF

2) InSuf

But I want to learn how to solve this with another method in less than 2 minutes.
