what's the source of this question - its content seems to contradict the st(1). 50% people who choose course M can not contribute to 80% pool of people who chose both M and C (M&C).

Agree with the points Night Reader made.

Is this copied word for word also? We're given percentages in the first half of the stem and in both statements, but the 2nd half of the stem asks "...how many people choose...". It wants a number, which we can't provide from this info.

If the current form in which this question has been presented is in fact correct, I'd have to say answer is E...

Gut feeling says there's a typo though
