Mileage: 30 Miles per gallon at a speed of 50 mph

Car travels at 50 mph for 5 hours:

So Total distance travelled - 250 miles
Gasoline in car - 12 gallons

1 Gallon : 30 Miles
x Gallons : 250 miles

=> So x = 25/3 Gallons.

The fraction of x in 12 Gallons:
------------------------------------
12 * (Fraction) = 25/3
Fraction = 25/36.
