Below is my profile, and I am planning to apply to Kellog, Booth, McCombs, Fuqua, and maybe Yale and Tuck.
Male/28
GMAT: took it once already, but scored low. planning to take it again late Dec/early Jan (studying my butt off right now)
Undergrad GPA: 3.3 (Plastics Engineering w/Business Minor)
-I worked 25+ hours a week in college, as I had to pay my own way through, which is why I don't have a stellar GPA (although my senior level GPA is around 3.8). I was vice president of my school's engineering chapter for two years, and was a TA my junior and senior year. I also participated in numerous club sports.
Work Experience: 4.5yrs in a Consumer Products Company (Product Development Eng. and Program Manager)
-My main function has been leading cross functional teams (domestically and internationally) on new product development from cradle to implementation
-I am actively involved in my company's community investment group, and I have founded our Active Wellness Group, which promotes healthy living. I am also leader of our Engage and Empower team, which helps link the frustration's of our employee's to the executive leadership.
My short term goal in obtaining in MBA is to switch career paths, and enter Brand/Strategic Marketing. Long term it is my plan to lead a large CPG company like Kraft, Unilever etc.
