My GMAT Score - 720 (Q50,V37,AWA 6.0)

So I am finally done with my GMAT with a decent score. I was pretty sure to get a score of 740+ but don't know what went wrong on the D-Day(I know my poor verbal score is to be blamed).

I am aiming for the top 15 MBA universities. Is my score good enough for applying to those universities?

I am a B.Tech. Comp. Sc.(GPA>3) graduate with 3 years experience in IT industry.I have ordinary extra curricular activities and some NGO experience as well.

Please guide me on this. Also pour in your advice whether I should re-take the test or not.

Congrats on the score! 720 is a good score.

Top 15 US schools or top 15 Global schools? Top 15 US is tough but not impossible. It depends on your overall profile.

Your GMAT, GPA, Long term goal (Very important!!!) and how you connect all your past activities to the MBA and your future plans, the essays, the interview, the letters of recommendation and your extracurriculars. It is difficult to just look at a score and say you can or cannot get in.

From the first look of what you have written here, your profile does point towards coming from the large IT applicant pool. So 720 may be a tough bet.
Vineesh,
Just telling you what I know and think. I am not the expert. :)

I am aiming for the top 15 global universities. I know it is very tough, especially when you belong to the large pool of IT professionals :(

Anyways I will give my best shot and I hope to land up in my dream college.
