The wordings actually confuse me but here is what i get from it:
Monthly charge= $25
Regular Call charge for 1 hr = 1.6 + (0.8*57) [1.6 for first 3 mins and 0.8 for the remaining 57 mins] = $47.2
Now the total charge = 25 + 47.2 = 72.2
Now applying the discount, the discounted call charge for 1 hour =
0.4 (1.6) + 0.4 (0.8) (57) = 0.64 + 0.32 (57) = 18.88
Total charge on applying the discount = 25+18.88 = 43.88
Hence the total savings using the discount = 72.2 - 43.88 = $28.32 (Which is none of the option so i'd just go with the closest option E)
