Improving Scores

by ILIinNY » Sat Sep 20, 2008 5:36 pm
Hi All,

I just took an MGMAT CAT, and scored a 640 (Q45, V33). Needless to say, I know what I need to focus on, and am spending my time on verbal from now on.. with about an hour everyday on math, just to keep it fresh. major focus is verbal from now. Like everyone else, hoping to get in the 700s. My question is this, I seem to be stuck on the 80th percentile in the Q section, and I need to improve it to above the 90th percentile.. so looking for some advice on how to achieve that at this point...

on a side note: I have taken the real thing, and got a 630. I took a few practice exams before the gmat and got in the high 600, low 700. I know I am capable of scoring a 700, but seems to be stuck around this 630 score with the Q and V mentioned above. Any thoughts for improving would be awesome.

Thanks!
