That's an extremely difficult question to answer without more information.
For example, if you're currently scoring at the 530 level, then it won't take long to reach your 550 target score.
If you're currently scoring at the 330 level, then it could take months to reach your target score.

To better determine the length of the road ahead, you should take an official practice test (https://www.mba.com/the-gmat/download-fr ... tware.aspx) to see where you currently stand. Who knows - perhaps you're already scoring above 550
