Hi All..

While going through Kaplan's gmat verbal foundation book, I encountered the term concrete noun.

It was explained as : Concrete nouns name tangible things
(things that u can experience directly with your senses:spider,motorcycle,contract)

Could anyone please explain me what these concrete nouns are? and provide some clarity with examples...

There are two types of nouns,

COncrete nouns - which refer to tangible things, i.e., things which you can see and touch.
Ex: The motorcycle looks great in blue.


Abstract Nouns - which refer to intangible things, i.e., which you cannot see and touch.
Ex: Trust is the key factor in any relationship.
