old paper based tests

found them to be even harder than kaplan .. anyone had this experience ? I got the tests from an internet source - so not completely sure if they are original but my percentile score came down to the 60s on the verbal section ..

Ya don't worry too much, I had the same experience. On my GMAT Prep 3 weeks ago I missed about 8 verbal questions and got a 36 V, on the paper tests I miss a ton.

Don't get discouraged... they're great practice since they're real questions.

I personally think they're only worth taking if you've completely exhausted the CATs that are available. You need to practice on computer-adaptive tests to be fully prepared. The experience of taking it is just as important as practicing the questions. Trust me!

I disagree. These are official questions and you can never get better than official questions.

We do OG q's and those obviously don't resemble a CAT, same as with the paper tests.

I have been doing some of these tests and feel there is a lot of repetition from the Og in fact the passages are usually from there....I'm afraid I don't find them difficult...have been scoring in the 700s in the three I've taken so far...the only thing I get annoyed by is there are no explanations only answers so sometimes it's difficult to understand the ones you get wrong.
