I hear the Kaplan CATS are very different and difficult, and not a good representation of the actual GMAT.

And can I get Veritas CATS (on their own) with out buying any of their books?

Thanks!

Kaplan CAT are difficult but not different. What makes their CAT more difficult is their scoring algorithm along with their verbal Section.

Regarding Veritas CAT, you may consult any Veritas representatives here on BTG.

Hope this helps !!

I have heard better things about Knewton CATs than the Kaplan ones but the problem with those is that you can't have them standalone. You can purchase them only if you enrol for the Knewton ones.

Hey !

Have you done the two free CATs accessible after registration on gmat.com ? I believe they're the most reliable. I've also tried Kaplan one's and, despite a previous score of 660 with GMAT prep, I scored 560
