Hello! Me and a friend of mine have been following the 60 Day guide. While he subscribed in Jan, I started last month. On comparing the Day 24 (SC) email, there are references to chapters from Manhattan SC along with the OG in my friends email while mine has just the topics from OG. There is no reference of the Manhattan SC in any of the SC emails (Day 24-29). I was wondering if the Manhattan SC reference has been missed out from my emails or have you guys revised the SC emails with references to MGMAT coming in later again.

Yup, we've modified the guide slightly. The newer version does not include MGMAT SC.

I signed up just before MGMAT SC was removed. I'm still having trouble with SC, and was wondering what the new material suggested for the 60-Day guide is.

Thanks for the help.

The guide suggests using the Kaplan Premier book for SC. However, if you feel like this is a particular weakness of yours, you might also consider buying the Manhattan GMAT SC guide and giving it a read. From day 43 onward, the guide is mostly about reviewing and polishing off your skills. You could use some of those 2 weeks until test day to go through the SC guide!

I did run through the MGMAT SC book, struggled with it so I almost definitely will have to go through it again. If I also go through Kaplan, will it stunt my studying by pushing towards contradictory methods? I've read that it is not too smart to use multiple books from different publishers on similar topics.

I think you should be fine with both. There isn't such a huge debate on how to approach SC, since it's a bit more "technical" than other, softer questions (such as RC and CR). People might debate the beauty of a painting, but they'll generally agree that 2 + 2 = 4 :) I don't think you'll see approaches that are too different. In case of doubt, use the techniques that fit you best.
