2. A certain basketball team that has played of its games has a record of 17 wins and 3 losses. What is the greatest number of the remaining games that the team can lose and still win at least of all of its games?
(A) 7
(B) 6
(C) 5
(D) 4
(E) 3

answer for 1st q.

If you draw a figure, you'll realise it's a right angled triangle with hypotenuse as 10.

So the other two sides have to be 8 and 6. Since the cafe is 2 miles closer to Dan’s house than to Karen’s house, the answer is 8.

So the option is C.


Your 2nd q has some data missing so wont be able to solve it bro.
