Stern is located in one of the best neighborhoods of one of the best cities in the world. Not only is NYC pure energy, it also gives Stern some pretty unique advantages. For one, opportunities. Being in New York makes Stern a great option for those considering finance, marketing, consulting, or real estate. Additionally, the locale draws big names to NYU to both speak and teach. Stern has some pretty powerful movers and shakers as adjunct faculty and hundreds of key note speakers grace the campus every year.

However, Stern is no stranger to competition. Columbia is up the street and Wharton is a stone's throw away. So while HBS boasts a 90%+ yield, Stern's rate hovers around 50%. If you're going to apply, make it known why you want to attend NYU and NOT the other programs. Demonstrating how Stern is the right fit for you is just as important as demonstrating why you're the right fit for them.
