Hello,
There is a good chance that I will apply for my phd in business administration, and my plan was to take the GMAT a 2nd time, I got a 640 my first take. However, since it is still fresh in my mind, I was going to retake again before June 2nd, the last day of the old format. Do people think this is a good idea? Or should i just take the exam in another year or so. I've been studying for the last month, so I figure I might as well take it. But will schools require students to take the new format in 2014 or 2015 when I apply for my phd? Does the Integrated Reasoning portion affect the main score? I know AWA gives a separate score most schools do not care about, is the IR portion similiar?
Thanks,
Ray
