MGMAT Quant - How realistic of a gage is it?

Finished up the Quant section of the MGMAT CAT and a good portion of the questions on there were significantly harder than any problems I came across in any of the OG books. With that being said, and noting that others have had the same experience, how should I best gage myself against the MGMAT versus the OG 11 or the OG Quant ?

I've taken multiple MGMAT tests and feel exactly the same way.

agreed. I haven't taken the actual test yet but I'm finding the MGMAT quant much harder than everything else. maybe b/c they are the 'no short cuts' school of thought where they want you to have a thorough understanding of each topic... enough to solve each questions straight.

Have you seen any comparisons regarding their scoring model for quant? I scored a 44 yesterday, wondering if that's accurate, high or low.

I took all 6 MGMAT cat tests and scored between 41-46 in the Q part. In the real GMAT I got a 43, so it's pretty much accurate! The verbal part, in the other hand, seems harder. Used to get 34-36 but got a 40 in the real one and a 42 in the GMATPrep two days before.
thanks!!
