IMO E

A. little warmth or heat mechanisms exist - little is not compatible with countable noun mechanisms
B. little warmth or hear mechanisms exists - little is not compatible with countable noun mechanisms
c. few heat mechanisms and little warmth exists mechanisms and warmth are not compatible with singular verb exists
D. there is little warmth or heat mechanisms available - little is not compatible with countable noun mechanisms
E. there are few heat mechanixms and little available warmth - are compatible with plural nouns mechanisms and warmth and few & little used appropriately. construction is a bit awkward but concepts > awkwardness

(Problem: LITTLE...EXIST. Heat Mechanism cann go with little; use of OR requires EXISTS)

B. little warmth or hear mechanisms exists
(Problem: LITTLE...EXISTS. Heat Mechanism cann go with little; use of OR requires EXISTS for warmth and EXIST for mechanisms)

c. few heat mechanisms and little warmth exists
use of AND requires EXIST)

D. there is little warmth or heat mechanisms available
(Problem: LITTLE...EXISTS. Heat Mechanism cann go with little; use of OR requires IS for warmth and ARE for mechanisms)

E. there are few heat mechanixms and little available warmth

I came up with (E) as well, but I have a question about part of your reasoning in choices (A) and (B).
First, you replaced "mechanisms" (plural) with "mechanism" (singular), even though all choices contain "mechanisms".
Also, "heat mechanisms" are presumably countable items (i.e. there can be 3 or 5 or 12, etc. mechanisms), and I don't believe that "little" goes with countable items.
