Post-MBA, I would like to join an MBA Rotational program in the auto industry, specifically, marketing or product strategy. From my own research, it looks like Toyota recruits from Anderson and Ford/GM recruit from Ross.
Multiple admissions consultants have told me I can potentially get into a Top 5 program (although they probably tell everyone that!). Do you think I should focus my efforts on going to the better brand and networking on my own or going to a Top 15 program (Ross, UCLA, etc) and use the campus/alumni networking to my advantage? Right now, I am looking at Columbia as my number one choice due to its prestige and being close to family in NYC.
Your advice will help me plan which schools to visit this spring and help prioritize my applications. Thanks for your help!!
