Hello,
I took my GMAT today & would want some help in evaluating my profile. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Electronics engineering with a GPA of 3.0 / 4. I am working for one of the biggest IT companies in their Application Consulting division and have 10 years of work experience in IT consulting. My extra- curricular activities have not really been excellent , although I am doing lot of volunteer work for last couple of years. I have a GMAT score of 680 ( Q-44 , V-38).
I have not yet been able to convince myself to take the plunge for Full time MBA & even though my family is supportive , I feel hesitant to give it a try. I am more comfortable with PT options & looking at following schools:

1. NYU Stern
2. UCLA Anderson
3. Chicago Booth
4. UT Austin

I am confident that if I take GMAt again I can reach at 700 mark, although would only try if it is going to be required by the schools I am interested in.
Based on the above information what do you think my chances are of getting into these schools? Also can you please suggest some good part time schools ( Finance / Entrepreneurship) anywhere in the US? I am willing to relocate if I get into a good school. My current job is 100 % travel & location independent.

Thanks a lot.
Ashish

Your 680 should be good enough for PT programs at those schools. PT stats are not required to be posted to the rankings, so schools are more flexible on entrance requirements. 10 years Workex is good too--have you considered an executive program instead of PT? PArticularly if you are getting help from your employer on tuition, exec program might be a good option. As an Indian applicant with an engineering and IT background, however, you are coming from a very large applicant pool. You should look up my former post on how to stand out as an Indian applicant for tips. Good luck!

Hi Bryant,
Thanks for your reply. I was away on a week long vacation & just saw your message. Do you have any idea about Worcester Polytechnic's part time MBA program? Business Week has ranked it as # 1 part time program , although I am not finding much information on the forums / blogs about this program?

Thanks,
Ashish
