Hi all,

Thanks for all the support! I have been around here for the past 3 months since I seriously began studying. I just took the GMAT and got a 690 45Q and 39V. I am very pleased but not sure if this will get me into UC Berkeley Evening and Weekend program.

I have a 7 year experience(consistent growth) in Sales Engineering(Business side) and now I am a Product Manager in a successful Financial Software firm. Also, I have a 3.84 GPA from a well reputed regional(west coast) university. Also, I was not born in the US and have lived in a few other countries.

Do you think I have a chance?

Thanks!

Congrats. You should check out the class profiles of the programs you're interested in. Without knowing more about you, it's hard to say if you have a chance, but there are no major red flags.

At face value it seems as though you are in good shape. If you are happy with the score, then that is all that matters. Congrats!

"Beating the GMAT" can only be measured by one person....you! Congrats on beating the GMAT! With my experience and background, I need a minimum of 560 to get into the schools I'll be applying to, so I'll BTG with a 580, and I'll BTG with a 750. Either way I win : )

I think you might get a call from top colleges. You have the experience of seven years as a Sales engineer.
