Hey Folks,
I just took the GMAT again was surprised to see a paltry 610 (44Q 31V). I was retaking the exam, and was expecting to raise my score significantly, after spending one month doing e-gmat (SC & CR) and scoring 39+ on every single mock tests.

Now here is something I can't seem to figure out. While doing the verbal section, I was breezing through the SC/CR questions and was doing well enough on the RC questions. I got couple really tough RC paragraphs, but thought I was able to comprehend them. On CR, I saw a bold faced question at No.7 and then saw bunch of resolve the paradox and evaluate the argument types. I got another really difficult bold face question at No.40 and immediately did a fist pump thinking that I have aced this section, however, when my the score came up, my eyes couldn't believe what I was seeing. Have you guys encountered this thing before? I thought you only see bold faced qs when you are doing well? This whole month I was so confident in my verbal practice and was actually loving taking the mock tests. A week before the actual exam, I scored a 44, 45, 45 on MGMAT Verbal exams and a 41 on PR exam. The frustrating thing is that I just opened my resource materials (OG/Aristotle/MGMAT SC book/Powerscore Bible) and feel like I have those books memorized on my fingers tips. I wish we had an option of reviewing our actual GMAT exams.

Experts - What are your thoughts? What materials should I be focusing on? I signed up for the exam in mid-Jan and hoping to score at least 700. I can improve 1-2 points on Q, but my focus would still be V.
