I think the answer is C

2 confirms the the 5 numbers are consecutive
1 confirms that the middle number of the series is 0

Therefore using 1 and 2 we can say that the series is -2 -1 0 1 2

Ya Mustang..the answer to this one is C but im still confused..Shouldnt all series of evenly spaced number with odd number of terms (in this case 5 terms) with zero as the median have a sum of zero?? in that case A alone would sufficient to answer the question ...

Yeah...I think you got me there....A seems more appropriate....moral of the story...never look at 2 before you look at 1...don't know why I did that

The official answer provided to this question is C as well...thats why i got so confused..I guess the right answer is A..Thanks Mustang and reachac for the inputs.
