How to Improve Verbal skills.

by beatthe800 » Fri May 24, 2013 6:15 am
Hi All,

I am non native English speaker. I once have written GMAT and got 540(Q 45 and V 20). I really want to beat the verbal section. I wanted to know the strategies to improve Verbal. RC has been my weak point so far. Many times I found language is difficult to understand. I am currently reading journals and newspaper to get familiar with the language. Apart from this I need to how can I perform well in Verbal. I am planning to write GMAT in July 2013.

My CR skill is improving because of lots of practice. While reading RC paragraphs, I cant concentrate to get enough numbers. So it affects on my overall performance.

Your suggestions are always welcome.

Thanks,
Neil

It can obviously be intimidating to think "How do I improve so much at once?" The best advice I can offer to you is try to make small consistent improvement -- you still have over a month left. You might be surprised how much you can accomplish.

Best!
