this is sad..specially for someone who scored in 680s..i know some folks who scored 660 in gmat prep and scored above 700 on the actual test.
however, my story is different. i was always scoring between 530-580 on mgmat and gmat prep test. with the exception of 610 on one of the gmat prep. i score a 530 (q35, v28) on the actual test.
highest i have gone to is 45 on q and 31 on v.
i need to raise my score to at least a 680 in 6 weeks time else my mba journey for this yr is over. and i am 31 right now so clock is ticking. though i'd like to score a 700 but my confidence is shaky right now as i have seen a 6XX on a practice test only once. and my first school deadline is 15th nov so i need to improve my score and finish the apps within that time.
its a crazy situation for me..
Creamed. From 680 Prep-570 on the real deal, wth happened?!

@ ECLS: Why don't you look into applying for Round 2? If your goal is 680 (what's the GMAT range for your target schools?), that will give you more time to prep, work on apps and strengthen your application. Best of luck!
@ technologista: Yeah it runs in my family. My dad's the more chill type but my mom and sister have it as bad as me. I feel like women in general are just more uptight than men on so many things. And that doesn't help when it comes to things like test taking. I took a total of 11 practice tests (MGMAT and GMATprep plus paper tests...though I heard paper tests wouldn't help much, I took them for extra practice). I think I'll go ahead with your advice and plan on taking it again. Thanks for your input/advice
