hi....

i am planning to take the GMAT by mid november this year. i m preparing from the official GMAT guide 12th edition and took the first of the practice tests today. got a score of 710 ( cannot remember the break ups :-( ).
Can anyone tell me a score of 710 is equivalent to much in the actual GMAT approximately?

Thanks!

The score from the GMATPrep, which is the official GMAC test that you are speaking of, translates pretty well to test day. The official statistic is that it is likely to be within 30 point either way. We have found that you might actually score better on test day than on the GMATPrep.

Here are a few cautions. You would want to take another practice test to see that the results are similar to this one. You can retake the same test you just took and save the other for later.

Also, people do say that the quantitative is different on the real test compared to the GMATPrep - so you will want to practice some more challenging questions from another source.

Nice job on the test!
