Hi,

been practising the GMAT prep!! i have a score which i am not completely disappointed !! BUT the worrysome is i am nto really happy coz more than 1/4 of the questions are repeated!!

IS there a work around ??? i mean its doing nothing in terms of confidence booster :(

Have u reinstalled the software by deleting the old files/folders? It is quite possible more than 1/4 repeat. U may get 5-10 questions new each time (may be)

Also the other alternative is to search gmat prep in this forum. This way u r more likely to get more new questions as there are so many. The downside is there is no score associated with it other than u gauging on how many u were able to answer correctly.

Good luck!

Vishu,
I am sure u may have already practiced with the Manhattan CAT'S, correct?

I still recommend that u search this forum for questions. There are a lot of gmat prep questions that I did not see in my installation.

Anyways good luck!

Ok ill add just add another general point.

Dont solve the GMAT Prep questions posted on this website unless youve attempted both the practice tests in GMAT prep atleast once. In this case you will avoid seeing questions you have solved earlier and the test will give you a true representation of your score.

I did the same mistake of solving most of the GMAT Prep questions that were posted on this website before I had attempted any of the practice tests and found around 3-4 identical questions, which definitely skewed my score towards the higher side.

But once youve solved both the practice tests atleast once its ok to solve all the GMAT Prep questions posted on this website. Like cramya said youll find many questions which you might be seeing for the first time and they are the best practice you can get once youve exhausted all your resources.
irrespective of wat is shown on the preps ! i know it will be hell lot different in actual test !!
Ok here i have to differ with you vishu. GMAT Prep is actually very close to the actual thing (Im talking in terms of difficulty level). So if your comfortable with solving the GMAT Prep questions, especially verbal, you shouldn't have much of a problem in the actual test.
