dissatisfied workers

A recent survey showed that many workers in a certain company are dissatisfied with their jobs. The survey also showed that most of the dissatisfied workers believe that they have little control over their job assignments. Therefore, to increase workers job satisfaction the company's management need only concentrate on changing workers' beliefs regarding the degree of control they have over their job assignments.

Which one of the following, if also shown by the survey, would most seriously call into question the conclusion made by the author of the passage?
(A) The dissatisfied workers feel that their wages are too low and working conditions are unsatisfactory.
(B) The number of workers in the company who are satisfied with their jobs is greater than the number who are dissatisfied.
(C) The workers in the company are more dissatisfied than workers in other companies
(D) Most people in company management believe that the workers already have too much control over their work.
(E) The workers in the company who are satisfied with their jobs believe that they have a lot of control over their job assignments.

IMO A, if dissatisfied people are unhappy with wages and working conditions then control thing is irrelevant.

I was inclined to pick B but then chose A because conclusion was pointing to control over job etc and not all employees.

I was between A and D. But I think A is more appropriate answer. The conclusion of the argument is that management needs to only concentrate on changing workers perception towards degree of control workers have on their work.

A brings new problems associated with workers that degree of work control is not the only factor there are other factors as well i.e. wages and working conditions

IMO A
"A" gives another factor, which dissatisfied workers feel of.
Secondly, conclusion is that the company's management needs to only concentrate on changing worker's belief regarding ONE OF THE MANY FACTORS
A produces 2 new factors, seriously calling into question the conclusion made by the author of the passage.

It cannot be D,
What most people in company management believe or not is immaterial here.
As we are more concerned about what is troubling workers.
Whether the DEGREE of CONTROL or 2 new factors as option A produces

(A) It proves there are other factor affecting job satisfaction, so A should be ok.
(B) greater or less nothing related with conclusion
(C) we r not concerned of other compaies
(D) workers belief and not management belief is the key issue here.
(E) this strengthen the argument.
