Yes, but why not (D)?

In my opinion, if there is not enough Uranium in the seawater then why to do research for its extraction.

Though I could not deny with (A) also. But this is the confusion that arise in most of CR questions for me that I left 2 equal important choices and most of the time unable to pick the correct one.

Any Suggestion????

Only if the amount of uranium on land is not sufficient..

D is close...
But,
Even if d amount of uranium is more in seawater.. we first need to find out if the amount is less on land..?? if thr is dearth ten only we shud move to a costly alternative...

I guess, we need to improve our vision, as we think too hard sometimes. 8)

I have left only less than a week to give the GMAT and I am still wrong answers due to confusion between last two possible choice, due to which my practice score is fluctuating a lot.

You would not believe, yesterday evening I had given Kaplan practice test - 2(none of the question is repeated) and scored 640. (Sounds Amazing??? to me too)

And today I have given GMAT Prep 2 (first time) and scored 530 (Q47, V17). weird!!! I am scoring more in Kaplan

On checking the answers, I figured out most (almost 70%) were wrong in which I were confused and picked wrong option instead of right one.

God knows what will happen in the real Exams!!!

6 Days more to go and I am keeping fingers CROSSED.

from your scores if seems you are really good in quant ...verbal seems to b ur area of concern..

I asked d same question here some time back...

one 700+ scorer asked me to go through d OG once again and read d explanations of the 2 choices that you get stuck up at d end in the elimination process.. this will help you2 know why d right one is right..

i found tat 60% of my answers were wrong because of not keepin d "scope" in mind...

From that i was able to improve a lot.. but still facing problem with "evaluating" and bold faced questions..i tend to reread d question couple of times n thus waste time..

i feel there is no fixed patten to identify these type of questions n tats d reason we rely on hunch..



If anyone knows a specific method to tackle these kind of problems pls advice...
