problem with a test center

by amaelle » Tue Mar 08, 2011 6:29 am
good day all

I'm planning to pass Gmat , i've created an account in the mba.com and choosed the 18 april as a test date ( an available date according to mba.com) .

Surprinsingly when i went to amedeast to pay the fees the responsable told me that i'm unlikely to get the test at this particular date and have otherwise to choose another one. (after the 18)

i'm posting here to ask if such practices are normal? may be if i pay with a credit card via internet i will get the test at this particular date?

any hint will be highly appreciated.

Ama

Testing centers all have limited slots available. It is not unusual for the slots to be filled on a given day. We always advise our students to register early to avoid such a situation. It has nothing to do with how you pay for the account. Some centers will accept wait list requests, but those generally come open only at the last minute and if you haven't registered for another test date you could find yourself unable to get a sitting for several weeks.
