P -> 20% of dollar sales, yielded to 40% profits
C -> 80% of dollar sales, yielded to 60% profits

correct answer should highlight that one division was profitable than the other one...Hence 'C'

E says exact opposite of what should actually be inferred from the stimuli coz the pharmaceutical dept. has higher percentage of more profitable products than the chemical division.

OK - I think I am mising something big here ...

my understanding is that out of total revenue P is 20% and C is 80% - so how come we can infer that Chem is lower than Pharm ?

same logic when applied for profits ...

what am i missing ?
