The good way to get better at RC is to practice some problems everyday. You also need to recognize the common wrong answers so you should study the problems after you're finished. Finally, you should read for fun to build up your speed.

As for making progress, you should make sure that you're reviewing all the problems that you got wrong, took too long on, guessed on etc... Learning from past questions is much more important that doing new ones. However, once you've learned from the past you should definitely keep doing more questions.

What are your problem areas inside both Quant and verbal (outside of RC)?

Hey dvithal,

What Daniel said is pretty accurate! You can also try using some resources:
- a useful video about RC: https://www.beatthegmat.com/mba/2010/08/ ... prehension
- good book for practice: Veritas RC book
- more practice: Beat The GMAT Practice Questions
- good book for a more detailed strategy to tackling RC: Manhattan GMAT RC guide

Hope it helps!

What type of passage are most difficult for you?

-Humanities?
-Law?
-Science?
-Mixed passages?

What type of questions are most difficult for you?

-Global questions; main point, scope questions?
-Concept question; author's view, weaken?
-Specific question; According to author...in line 35-42..?

Come one level down and see where exactly you are weak in RC. What type of questions and passages are most difficult for you.
