Burgers

A certain restaurant estimates that it loses 1/3 of the weight of its "quarter pounder" during cooking. If the advertised weight is its cooked weight, how many pounds of meat are required to make 96 burgers?

if x is the meat used in 1 "quarter pounder"

2x/3 = 1/4
x = 3/8

Total meet for 96 burger = x*96 = 3*96/8 = 36

Option C
