Here is a bit of my profile:
GPA: 4.0
GMAT:720
WE: 3 yrs full-time in Financial Advisory firm (25 Eees) - started with part-time job (3 yrs) and upon graduation full-time (3 yrs) from associate, to consultant and now TP Manager .

I am about to select my peer recommender for Stanford and I was thinking of choosing a former college peer with whom we worked together in many college projects, in extra-curricular activities, such as clubs and organizations, and at our internship. He knows me very well and highly supports my applications to the MBA programs.

He just finished his Master at Oxford Uni and signed a contract with McKinsey.

I am definite that if he writes me a recommendation it will be amazing and boosting but I do not know whether a peer from University will be what the adcom wants.

The other two reccomendations will be from:
1) My current supervisor and partner at the firm I work
2) A client - CFO at a MNE in Telecommunications Software industry with whom I have worked together the past 2 yrs.
