For those of you who are worried that you have a low GMAT score, or your grades in college weren't that stellar, fear not. There are ways and strategies around how to market yourself to the admissions committee where you can truly market your strengths and mitigate your weaknesses. Keep in mind that not all MBA students are perfect. Admission committees look at the whole package. There may be something amazing about you that stands out even though your GMAT is not in the 700's, for example. Plus, to be honest, n prospective student with an amazing high GMAT score will offset your low GMAT score, thereby allowing the respective MBA program to publish their high GMAT score averages in their yearly admission publication.

For those of you worried that your weakness, regardless of what it is, will prevent you from getting into the school of your choice, just ask me.

I had a below average GMAT score and was admitted (with scholarship) to The University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

All I can say is that it is possible. You just need to know how to market yourself.

As a current Veritas Prep MBA Head Consultant, I have helped many prospective MBA students get into top programs. I felt amazingly proud to have been able to help these students. Because I had gone through the process myself and was on the admission committe at Chicago, I was able to help these students achieve their dream of getting into a top MBA program.

Would love to give advice to anyone who has questions or concerns.
